The meeting is held in Valencia, which is the third largest city in Spain, located on the East, is a place of contrasts between historic and modern Spain. Valencia’s architecture dates from the first century b.C. as a Roman settlement, and goes to the most futuristic, 21st century design as the City of Arts and Sciences. Valencia mixes tradition and modernity, offering culture, museums, art, architecture, entertainment, gastronomy and on average enjoys over 300 days of Mediterranean light every year.
To access the internet connection during the meeting, there are two possibilities:
- ⚈ to use eduroam.
- ⚈ to use the local connection.
For the second option you need to send in advance, before coming to Valencia, your mac address, so our computing assistants will allow your connection. In case you don't send it in advance it will take a couple of hours to set your connection.
The organization will provide buses to go to the Institute. The buses will depart from/to the Secotel Sorolla Palace. Buses schedule:
- ⚈ Day-Feb. 15: Buses Hotel-IFIC and IFIC-Hotel (FALC). Social dinner at Valencia centre people are required to go using public transport (10 minutes).
- ⚈ Day-Feb. 16: Buses Hotel-IFIC and IFIC-Hotel (LCB/ICFA). Transport will also be provide to go to the restaurant (two ways: hotel-restaurant).
- ⚈ Day-Feb. 17: Buses Hotel-IFIC and IFIC-Hotel (ICFA).
